Perhaps the most urgent and critical need at the present time is to gather information about the mortar strikes and what is known about them. Our team is working through archives of old newspapers and UN records, however some of the most valuable information available is surely that which remains in the minds and memories of those who endured the Siege of Sarajevo. If you or someone you know can provide additional information about the dates, locations, and/or victims of strikes, or if you are aware of Sarajevo Roses that we have not documented on the Arc GIS map, please contact us.
